Job description
- Manage all aspects of IT infrastructure including devices, servers, network, and applications
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other technology equipment
- Provide technical support for approximately 25 individuals
- Maintain and secure our existing network stack which consists of a Sonicwall router / firewall, two switches, and four UniFi wireless access points
- Maintain and support our existing server architecture including two physical servers one virtualized with Hyper V and one with VMWare
- Administer and support our Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments
- Participate in and help lead our âTechnology Modernization Initiativeâ where we will be upgrading our IT backbone as well as moving to a cloud provider for our Association Management System (AMS)
- Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all technology systems and data
- Manage daily Print Shop operations including maintaining printers and other shop equipment and executing monthly newsletter distribution and printing of various Association marketing and event materials, including management of our postal specialist
Requirements
The New York State Automobile Dealers Association (NYSADA), located in downtown Albany, is looking for a well rounded individual contributor / team lead to be our next Information Technology and Media Production Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse range of technical functions, ensure seamless IT infrastructure, and optimize print shop workflows. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, and thrive in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering exceptional service., * Professional degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required
- Minimum of two years of IT leadership experience, including hands on and leadership responsibilities preferred
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, networking, and enterprise systems
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, technology projects, and vendor relationships
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals are advantageous.
- Experience working with various accounting and ERP platforms and association management databases such as: Dynamics GP, Sage Intacct, IMIS, and Ebix a plus but not required
