Granite warehouse inventory

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Granite Warehouse Inventory Specialist to oversee the management and accuracy of our stone material stock. This role is vital in ensuring seamless warehouse operations, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, technical proficiency in warehouse management systems, and experience in materials handling and logistics. Join our dynamic team to contribute to efficient inventory control, process improvement, and category management within a fast-paced warehouse environment., * Monitor and manage granite inventory levels using warehouse management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms

• Conduct regular stock audits and optimize inventory accuracy
• Coordinate with procurement, sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and effective demand planning
• Oversee shipping & receiving processes, including order fulfillment, materials handling, and heavy lifting operations with forklift certification when required
• Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse operations, reduce waste, and streamline stocking procedures
• Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, contracts, supplier management activities, and logistics inventory management documentation

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management software (such as ERP systems), and warehouse operations
• Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate with sourcing, merchandising, production planning, and logistics.
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and materials handling within a warehouse setting
