Configuration Data Analyst - Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented Configuration Data Analyst to support benefits and eligibility configuration activities, data validation, and testing initiatives. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and validate benefit configurations, ensure data accuracy, and support system enhancements., * Configure and maintain benefits and eligibility data based on approved business requirements.

• Support implementation of new configurations and change requests through testing and validation.
• Track and document configuration changes before and after implementation.
• Perform data quality audits and file validations using manual and automated processes.
• Execute workflow activities including assessment, configuration, testing, and validation.
• Utilize Jira or similar ticketing systems to manage work queues and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Conduct readiness assessments to confirm configuration requirements are met.
• Validate completed configurations against established requirements and quality standards.
• Research and troubleshoot configuration issues, system errors, and customer inquiries.
• Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining service-level expectations.
• Develop an understanding of benefit structures, eligibility rules, configuration logic, coding tables, and system constraints.
• Perform in-unit testing to ensure solutions function as designed and meet business requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with established processes.

The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare, insurance, eligibility, or benefits administration and possesses strong analytical, troubleshooting, and Excel skills. Success in this role requires the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain high-quality standards, and deliver accurate configurations in a fast-paced environment., * Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of customer service, operations, data management, or related experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including functions such as XLOOKUPs, formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to gather, analyze, and validate data.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated accountability and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare, insurance, benefits administration, or eligibility experience.
• Experience with benefits configuration, enrollment systems, or eligibility platforms.
• Experience with Jira or other workflow management tools.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
• Experience documenting and analyzing business workflows and process improvements.
