Notchwood Landscape specialises in high-quality landscape design, installation, and maintenance for both residential and commercial clients. We are dedicated to creating customised outdoor spaces that enhance property aesthetics and usability, driven by a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a talented and self-motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in transforming our raw data into actionable insights that will guide our strategic decisions, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven professional to make a significant impact within the landscaping industry., Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to support business objectives. Analyse complex data sets related to sales performance, operational efficiency, project profitability, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the company to understand their data requirements and deliver insightful analytical solutions. Identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis and present findings to senior management. Manage and improve data quality, integrity, and accuracy within our systems. Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse to ensure it is ready for analysis. Develop and implement standardised reporting processes to ensure consistency and reliability of information.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Business Intelligence Specialist, Data Analyst, or in a similar analytical role. Strong proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Excellent SQL skills for complex querying, data extraction, and manipulation. A strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Demonstrable ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, concise reports and dashboards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to a non-technical audience. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred. Experience in the landscaping, construction, or a related service-based industry would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with data warehousing principles and ETL processes is highly desirable.
