Entry Level IT Technician

Polymer Industries is seeking a dependable and motivated Entry-Level IT Technician to assist with day-to-day technical support across the organization. This position is ideal for someone beginning a career in information technology who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new systems, and helping others., * Provide technical support to employees in person, by phone, and remotely

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, phones, and related equipment
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, network, and email issues
• Set up computers and user accounts for new employees
• Assist with password resets and account-access issues
• Install approved software and perform routine system updates
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, support requests, and completed work
• Escalate complex technical issues when necessary
• Follow company IT policies and security procedures
• Assist the IT department with other projects and responsibilities as assigned

No previous professional IT experience is required. CompTIA A+ certification is preferred but not required., * High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to follow instructions and document work accurately

• Dependable, organized, and professional

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, and work underneath desks or in equipment areas
• Ability to move between departments or company locations as needed
