Job description

Exempt, Temporary, Full-Time, Non-Civil service appointment. The primary purpose of this position is to develop, implement, and oversee the comprehensive evaluation of the RICA-BHA project. The position is integral to the strategic planning of the project and will utilize advanced research methods, statistics and quantitative and qualitative analyses to guide the project toward successful outcomes. The position is responsible for reporting the project’s data and outcomes information as required and ensuring that all federal data reporting requirements are met in a timely fashion.

Requirements

Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Statistics, Data Science, Health Data Management, Digital Health, Public Health Informatics or related fields.

A doctorate in social science field with major area of specialty in clinical, community, developmental, social or organizational psychology, preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have had five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in research or evaluation work that included applying statistical theory and method to the planning, establishment and operation of comprehensive data collection and reporting systems, including all phases of collecting, editing, processing, and publishing of complex and extensive statistical data. The capacity to plan and coordinate statistical survey activities of considerable difficulty, breadth and complexity is required. Experience working on CMS-funded or other federal-funded grant project preferred.

Work experience must demonstrate that the applicant has the ability to plan and direct program evaluation efforts, prepare well-written statistical reports and edit the statistical reports of a professional staff for scientific validity.
