AI Engineer

Amsterdam | €60,000 - €85,000 incl. 8% Holiday Allowance This is an exciting opportunity for a curious and ambitious AI Engineer to help transform a customer journey through practical AI applications. You’ll work across product, technology, and operations, applying AI to real business challenges while developing your skills in a fast-growing environment., As an AI Engineer, you will design, develop, and improve AI-powered solutions that enhance both customer and employee experiences. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing AI-driven applications, workflows, and product features
• Translating business challenges into practical AI solutions
• Integrating LLMs, APIs, and AI services into existing systems and processes
• Creating evaluation frameworks, test datasets, and quality metrics for AI products
• Monitoring AI performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Analysing user feedback, product metrics, and production data to optimise solutions
• Collaborating closely with software engineers, domain experts, and compliance stakeholders
• Supporting software development activities when required across front-end and back-end environments
• Contributing to the long-term AI strategy and product roadmap

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Fluency in Dutch, both written and spoken
• Ability to quickly learn and understand complex business domains
• Affinity with technology, software development, and AI applications
• Experience in a technical, analytical, product, or business-focused role
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Interest in AI technologies, LLMs, and emerging AI products

Beneficial experience includes:
