Job description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented School Data Manager to oversee the management and integrity of student and school data Including the School Census and Workforce Census. This role is essential in supporting educational excellence by ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a background in teaching or education, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy and confidentiality. The position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the school’s operational efficiency and educational outcomes., * Maintain and update student records, attendance, assessment results, and other relevant data with precision and timeliness.

  • Develop and implement data management procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Generate reports for school leadership, local authorities, and government agencies as required.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure data accuracy for curriculum planning and student progress tracking.
  • Assist in the analysis of data trends to support school improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality standards at all times.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data entry systems and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within an educational setting or background in teaching is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in data management software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated understanding of data protection legislation relevant to schools.
