Job description

This is a hands-on engineering role, not a software development position. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Application Teams, Network Engineers, and Security Teams to architect and deliver scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions., * Design and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure

  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls across cloud environments
  • Deploy and support F5 BIG-IP LTM and ASM solutions in AWS and Azure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues in development, testing, and production environments
  • Design and implement zero-trust security architectures
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and auditing solutions to support security and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud security best practices
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, security configurations, and incident reports

Requirements

AAC is seeking an experienced Senior Palo Alto Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise with Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls, cloud security architecture, and zero-trust design principles., * 10+ years of experience in network security and engineering

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, scaling, upgrading, troubleshooting, and optimizing Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls in both AWS and Azure environments
  • Strong experience with Panorama management, security policy design, threat prevention tuning, and log analysis
  • Demonstrated experience architecting and implementing zero-trust security controls using Palo Alto technologies
  • 5+ years of experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining F5 BIG-IP LTM solutions
  • Experience supporting security compliance frameworks such as NIST, HIPAA, PCI, SOX, CMMC, CUI, and related standards
  • Experience working within state or local government security environments is highly desirable

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of equivalent experience as a Palo Alto Cloud Engineer
  • Must hold a Palo Alto, AWS, or Azure certification
