Scrum Master

The Scrum Master supports Agile software delivery by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, promoting Scrum best practices, and assisting assigned Agile delivery teams in delivering high-quality solutions. This role partners with Product Owners, developers, Business Systems Analysts, and stakeholders to remove routine impediments, maintain Agile processes, and foster continuous improvement within the assigned teams., * Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives for assigned Agile delivery teams.

• Partner with Product Owners to maintain prioritized backlogs and ensure user stories are adequately defined for sprint planning.
• Identify and help remove routine impediments impacting sprint execution, escalating complex issues when appropriate.
• Maintain Agile project information within Jira by updating user stories, sprint boards, workflows, and team progress.
• Track sprint progress, team capacity, and basic Agile delivery metrics, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Promote adherence to Scrum principles and established Agile delivery processes while encouraging collaboration and team accountability.
• Support continuous improvement by facilitating retrospective discussions and assisting with implementation of agreed-upon action items.
• Collaborate with developers, Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, Project Managers, and stakeholders to support successful sprint execution and delivery across assigned teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of experience supporting Agile software development teams as a Scrum Master or related role.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence in an Agile environment.
• Working knowledge of Scrum principles and Agile methodologies., * Experience working within software development or technology organizations.
• Exposure to Kanban or other Agile frameworks.
• Healthcare technology experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong facilitation and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions

This is a hybrid role with 3x/week onsite, in-person, requirement at our office in Plano, TX.

Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work may be performed in an office, warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Requires the ability to perform the following activities for the majority of the day: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb. In addition requires the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to noise and be required to wear hearing protection for the duration of the shift.
