Job description

  • Our Client is seeking a Data Analyst to support its Automotive Parts Operations and Parts Assistance Center. This individual will analyze supply chain, inventory, logistics, and parts availability data across multiple systems while helping business teams make informed operational decisions. The role combines data analysis, reporting, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution in a fast-paced automotive environment.
  • Analyze operational and supply chain data from 11+ enterprise systems.
  • Utilize SAP to review inventory, orders, shipment statuses, and parts availability information.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate business data.
  • Monitor inventory trends, backorders, and supply chain performance metrics.
  • Provide ETA updates and support escalations related to critical parts shortages.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders, suppliers, and teams in Germany.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests for Parts Operations leadership.

Requirements

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.\
  • Automotive industry experience.
  • Supply chain, logistics, inventory planning, or parts operations experience.
  • Experience supporting dealer or customer-facing operations.
  • Knowledge of parts availability, forecasting, and inventory management concepts.
