About The Role

We’re looking for a Frontend/Full Stack Software Developer who is as confident with technical front-end problem-solving as they are with making design decisions.

You’ll work closely with the development team to maintain, improve, and expand the functionality of the PQS portal and related software products.

The role is primarily focused on design and front-end development, with occasional opportunities to contribute to backend work.

This is an opportunity for an experienced front-end developer to take a creative lead and make a lasting contribution to a growing business. We’re a small team, so your voice will be heard and your input will matter.

Requirements

2+ years of professional experience in frontend/full stack software development.

Keen eye for detail

Core Technical Requirements - Skills/Experience

Experience with frontend frameworks (we use both Vue.js and Angular.js).

Experience with frontend testing tools

Familiarity with TypeScript

Experience with version control

Strong understanding of REST APIs

Strong understanding of building reusable components

Experience with AI coding tools

Design-Specific Skill requirements

Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe, Sketch etc.)

Understanding of design systems and component libraries

Typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy fundamentals

UX principles - user flows, wireframing, prototyping

Accessibility (WCAG standards, semantic HTML, ARIA)
