Job description

Our first shop opened in 1981 in Penzance, selling durable clothing to artists and mariners. Today, we’re a modern, data-enabled omnichannel retailer with a growing international presence. We blend heritage with innovation, designing timeliness clothing made from responsibility sourced fabrics, and using technology to improve how we operate, grow and serve customers.

As we scale in the UK and internationally (primarily through third-party partnerships), we’re investing in data, systems and digital capability to support our people and our growth. It’s an exciting time to join us!

As our Ecommerce Platform Delivery Manager, you’ll work closely with Digital, Technology and third-party partners to ensure ecommerce product enhancements are delivered successfully, predictably and at pace. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of ecommerce product change, turning priorities into achievable plans and ensuring teams are aligned around clear delivery objectives. Acting as the central point of coordination across engineering teams, product stakeholders and external suppliers, you’ll help remove blockers, manage dependencies and keep delivery on track.

Alongside delivering new product change, you’ll support the ongoing stability of the ecommerce platform by coordinating incident resolution, managing service issues and ensuring support activities are balanced with delivery priorities. You’ll also contribute to the future direction of the platform, providing valuable insight into delivery feasibility, capacity planning, sequencing and risk management.

This is a full-time, permanent role which is based remotely within the UK, with occasional travel to our Cornwall head offices.

You’ll help us by: Owning delivery outcomes for ecommerce products and platform capabilities, ensuring sprint goals are achievable across front-end and back-end components.

Ensuring work is delivery-ready before sprint commitments are made, including validating dependencies, acceptance criteria and technical feasibility.

Acting as the key delivery contact between Ecommerce Product, Trading, Front-End Engineering teams and third-party back-end suppliers.

Identifying, managing, and resolving cross team and supplier dependencies, ensuring shared understanding of scope, sequencing, risk, and ownership.

Help facilitate sprint shaping and planning sessions 2-3 weeks ahead of delivery to improve readiness and reduce delivery risks.

Challenging scope, priorities and sequencing where delivery risk is high and providing final sprint commitment sign off on behalf of Technology.

Coordinating back end delivery with third party partners, including API delivery, handovers, integration points and acceptance criteria.

Maintaining visibility of delivery capacity, risks and constraints, proactively balancing scope, time and quality.

Providing clear and timely updates to stakeholders and acting as an escalation point when delivery issues arise.

Driving continuous improvement across delivery processes to reduce blockers, rework, and variability in outcomes.

Coordinating ongoing support activities for the ecommerce platform across internal teams and external partners, ensuring incidents, defects, and service issues are effectively triaged, ownership is clear and resolution is aligned with delivery priorities and platform stability.
