Technical Delivery Consultant

We are looking for a Technical Delivery Consultant to help bridge the gap between our clients, sales team, designers and developers. This is a client-facing technical role for someone who can understand business needs, shape clear technical requirements, support proposals and help make sure website and software projects are properly scoped, planned and delivered.

You do not need to be a hands-on senior developer, but you must be technically confident. You should be comfortable discussing web and software projects with clients, asking the right questions, translating requirements into clear documentation, and working closely with developers to make sure delivery is practical and well understood.

What you will be doing

• Lead and support client discovery sessions, technical workshops and requirements discussions.
• Gather, analyse and document technical and functional requirements.
• Translate client and business requirements into clear scopes, user stories, implementation plans and project documentation.
• Support the sales team during discovery, estimation, proposal writing and new business conversations.
• Act as a trusted technical point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles.
• Work closely with developers, designers and internal stakeholders to keep projects clear, realistic and on track.
• Help clarify technical decisions, risks, assumptions and dependencies before and during delivery.
• Support project coordination, including priorities, timelines, stakeholder communication and delivery readiness.
• Take ownership of smaller technical projects from discovery through to delivery.
• Contribute to implementation, configuration or lower-complexity technical tasks where appropriate.
• Help improve our internal delivery processes, documentation standards and client experience., * A technically minded project or delivery person who wants more client-facing responsibility.
• A developer or technical specialist who enjoys discovery, communication and solution shaping more than day-to-day coding.

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.

• The ability to turn vague requirements into clear, structured technical scopes and user stories.
• A good understanding of web development, digital platforms, CMS platforms, APIs, integrations or software delivery.
• Experience working with development teams in an agency, software, digital or technical environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how discovery, scoping, estimation and delivery affect project success.
• The confidence to challenge assumptions, identify gaps and ask practical technical questions.
• Enough hands-on technical knowledge to understand implementation options, risks and trade-offs, even if you are not the person writing the production code.
