Software Engineer - Frontend

This role is ideal for a front-end engineer who enjoys collaborating with a high-caliber UX team, moving quickly from concept to deployment, and shaping user experiences at the intersection of data and AI.

What you will be doing

• Architect and build intuitive, performant, and scalable front-end applications for complex analytical workflows.
• Design and implement tools and shared components to streamline functionality across apps.
• Drive end-to-end delivery, from concept to production, with a focus on product quality and performance.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure a seamless full-stack experience.

• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and Modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong command of core web fundamentals - DOM, HTTP, browser rendering, performance tuning, accessibility, etc.
• Expertise in data visualization frameworks (e.g., ECharts, D3.js, uPlot, Highcharts) and the ability to distill complex data into actionable visual interfaces.
• Experience in building scalable web-based applications with complex datasets.
• Track record of optimizing large-scale frontend applications (code-splitting, lazy loading, performance profiling, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production systems
• Ability to prototype quickly, iterate fast, and experiment based on user feedback or product uncertainty.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable leading cross-team frontend initiatives.

• Solid understanding of frontend build tools and CI/CD workflows (Webpack, Vite, Rollup, etc.).
• Familiarity with basic backend development, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), or full-stack environments is a plus.
• Bonus: Exposure to ML/AI tooling, data pipelines, or scientific computing frontends., You’ll work in a deeply collaborative, fast-moving environment where your technical vision and frontend expertise will directly influence the product’s direction. You’ll help shape high-impact tools used to analyze and visualize data across different domains.
