  • Implement enterprise-grade security protocols within Power BI, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Utilize external tools like Tabular Editor for advanced BIM model management, DAX scripting, and model optimization.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries (leveraging complex Joins, Window functions, and indexing) for seamless data integration.
  • Leverage Microsoft Fabric components (Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, Data Factory, OneLake, and DirectLake mode) to modernize data architecture.
  • Connect, extract, and ingest data from various source systems using REST APIs.
  • Integrate GitHub Copilot into daily workflows to accelerate code generation, debugging, and documentation for SQL, DAX, and scripts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Enterprise Analytics.
  • Deep expertise in Power BI Desktop/Service, advanced DAX, deployment pipelines, Advanced Data Modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Proven experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS).
  • Mastery of SQL engineering, including complex Joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience navigating and building within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
  • Proficiency with Tabular Editor (for managing tabular models) and REST APIs for data integration.
  • Experience utilizing GitHub Copilot (or similar AI pair-programming tools) to optimize coding efficiency.
