Job description

The Network Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Gelson’s enterprise infrastructure across retail, warehouse, and corporate environments. The role supports a collaborative infrastructure environment across Gelson’s, Marukai, Vanshow, and PPRM Hawaii, and is critical in maintaining standardized, ITIL-aligned operational practices., * Deploy, configure, and manage enterprise-grade network equipment with a strong focus on Arista and Meraki switching and wireless technologies.

  • Configure and maintain VLANs, routing, ACLs, QoS, and VPNs.
  • Monitor network health and performance using tools such as Arista CloudVision, Meraki Dashboard, and WhatsappGold, SolarWinds and other monitoring tools.
  • Document network changes, port mappings, and bandwidth capacity across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and low-voltage contractors for cabling, installations, and network upgrades.
  • Optimize wireless coverage and resolve connectivity issues in retail and warehouse environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure team members to manage WAN connectivity for store and warehouse networks.
  • Follow ITIL-based change management procedures for all planned upgrades and routine maintenance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and low-voltage contractors for cabling, installations and upgrades.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent work experience acceptable.

Experience: Minimum 4 years of enterprise network administration experience, with multi-site support.

Experience supporting retail or warehouse environments is highly desirable.

Certifications: CCNA, Arista ACE, Network+, or equivalent certifications preferred.
