Job description

Are you passionate about building scalable systems, improving processes, and supporting high-performing manufacturing teams? At Bevco Engineering, we’re looking for a Test Engineer who will serve as the subject matter expert for our testing infrastructure, procedures, and safety standards while supporting the continued growth of our manufacturing operations. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering and production teams to develop scalable test systems, improve standardization, support tester development, and help drive operational excellence in a rapidly growing environment., * Test Infrastructure Ownership - Lead the development, organization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing test infrastructure, including test cell layout, power requirements, workflow optimization, and future expansion planning.

  • Tester Safety - Establish and maintain safe testing practices, procedures, and equipment standards to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Test Procedure Creation - Develop, maintain, and improve standardized test procedures, documentation, and validation methods for electrical control systems and assemblies.
  • Test Equipment Management - Specify, implement, and support testing equipment including multimeters, power supplies, meggers, Cirris, and hi-pot testers.
  • Standardization and Continuous Improvement - Drive standardization across testing processes, equipment, and documentation to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Manufacturing Support - Partner closely with shop test personnel and production teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and support manufacturing operations.
  • Technical Problem Solving - Assist in diagnosing electrical and controls-related issues and implement effective long-term solutions.
  • Tester Development and Mentorship - Support the development of test personnel through technical guidance, training, process improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and leadership teams to support successful project execution and operational growth.
  • Documentation and Best Practices - Maintain clear and accurate documentation including test procedures, safety standards, and process instructions., * The above represents the essential job functions that you are assigned to perform in your job. Requirements

  • Electrical Testing and Infrastructure Expertise - Experience developing or supporting electrical testing systems, manufacturing test environments, or industrial control system validation processes.
  • Electrical Systems Knowledge - Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control power, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting Ability - Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and manufacturing-related issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Software Skills - Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook; AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN, Monday.com and SAP, Studio5000 and Siemens TIA Portal experience is a plus.
  • Leadership and Mentorship - Experience developing training materials, mentoring team members, and supporting technical skill development within manufacturing or engineering teams.
  • Process Improvement Mindset - Strong focus on scalability, standardization, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Self-Sufficient & Detail-Oriented - Works independently with a high level of integrity, organization and attention to detail.
  • Effective Communicator - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional presence when working with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of applicable electrical testing experience.
  • Limited Travel Requirement - Travel is minimal, only 10% of the time to remote job sites as needed.
