Job description

The Epic Hospital Billing Application Analyst provides technical and functional support for complex healthcare applications. This role involves analyzing user requirements, implementing solutions, optimizing system performance, and troubleshooting application issues in a healthcare environment., * Strong understanding of the Hospital Billing Revenue Cycle

  • Hands-on experience with claims and remittance build, testing, and implementation
  • Ensure accurate claims submission and payment posting
  • Work with 835/837 transactions, including troubleshooting errors
  • Collaborate with end users and clearinghouses to create claim edits and work queues
  • Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure system alignment with business needs
  • Perform detailed analysis of workflows, data collection, and reporting requirements
  • Support implementation and integration of third-party systems
  • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis during requirement gathering

Requirements

  • Certification in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Administration and Hospital Billing Claims & Remittance
  • Strong experience in claims and remittance processing
  • Proven experience in successful project implementations and production/system support, * Prior experience in healthcare information systems
  • Strong understanding of hospital and ambulatory workflows
  • Experience working with EMR systems, patient charts, or enterprise healthcare applications
