DevOps Engineer

We’re supporting a growing technology consultancy that delivers complex engineering and cyber programmes across Defence and National Security. As demand for their services continues to grow, they’re looking to recruit a DevOps Engineer to help build, automate and optimise the platforms that underpin mission-critical technology programmes. Due to the nature of the work, you’ll need to either have current DV Clearance. The Headlines A hands-on DevOps role focused on automation, cloud infrastructure and modern engineering practices, working alongside experienced engineers on secure, high-impact technology programmes. You’ll be given real ownership, exposure to modern tooling and the opportunity to develop your skills within an environment that actively invests in career progression. What You’ll Be Doing Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationSupporting cloud and on-premise infrastructureDeveloping automation scripts and tooling using Python (or similar)Managing infrastructure as code and configuration managementImproving platform reliability, monitoring and release processesCollaborating with software engineers and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable platformsProducing clear technical documentation and contributing to engineering best practice

Around 2+ years’ commercial DevOps experienceExperience with CI/CD and DevOps best practicesPython or similar scripting experienceKnowledge of cloud platforms and modern infrastructureStrong communication skills and a collaborative approachA passion for automation and continuous improvement Nice to Have KubernetesGitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxPrometheus, Grafana, Loki or ELKSite Reliability Engineering (SLIs/SLOs)DevSecOps or security automationEvent-driven architectures and messaging platforms Please apply with an up to date CV.
