Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Epic Cupid Analyst to join our healthcare technology team. In this vital role, you will leverage your expertise in Epic systems, health informatics, and healthcare IT to optimize clinical workflows and enhance patient care through effective management of the Epic Cupid module. Your analytical skills and system design knowledge will drive improvements in data management, reporting, and system integration, supporting our mission to deliver innovative health solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of clinical information systems and healthcare data analytics, ensuring seamless electronic health records (EHR) management and system performance., * Collaborate with clinical, IT, and management teams to implement and optimize Epic Cupid functionalities aligned with organizational goals.

  • Manage database systems and ensure accurate data collection, entry, and maintenance within Epic Cupid and related clinical information systems.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data analytics tools to support clinical decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of Epic Cupid modules to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support software implementation projects by coordinating cross-functional communication and providing technical expertise in health data analysis.
  • Facilitate training sessions for end-users on Epic Cupid features, data management best practices, and system updates.
  • Analyze health data trends from EMR/EHR systems to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Epic systems, particularly the Cupid module, including configuration and system design.
  • Strong understanding of managed care processes, hospital information technology, and health informatics principles.
  • Proficiency in databases such as SQL databases; experience with SQL scripting for data analysis is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of clinical trials, bioinformatics, medical terminology, and acute care workflows.
  • Skilled in data mining, analysis tools, reporting software (such as Tableau or Power BI), and dashboarding tools for healthcare analytics.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in healthcare IT projects involving software implementation and system upgrades.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration among clinical staff, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Ability to interpret complex health data sets for actionable insights while maintaining compliance with health information management standards.

Benefits & conditions

$80 - $85 an hour - Contract
