About the company
Who is Hive Collective?
As a premier digital transformation consultancy, we’ve had the privilege to transform systems and processes at leading brands in ways that push what’s possible. We build relationships with really bright people revolutionizing cloud infrastructure automation, developer experience, data layer transformation, machine learning / large language AI models, blockchain, and Internet of Things. Using this network of big thinkers, we help customers achieve modern, AI native digital transformation across verticals that range from telcos, big oil, and smart cars, to SaaS platforms large and small.
The Opportunity: Senior Full-Stack Engineer
The company we represent is a profitable LegalTech SaaS with near-100% customer retention and a small team that protects real work/life balance.
You’d join as a hands-on senior engineer on a lean team that already treats AI as a day-to-day collaborator. Full-stack work with a backend lean - ship product, keep systems healthy, and bring an optimistic, experimental attitude toward AI-assisted engineering.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, ship, and support full-stack systems end to end, with a backend lean
- Use AI as part of the regular development workflow: research, planning, and implementation
- Ship new features while keeping existing systems healthy
- Collaborate with teammates to deliver solutions spanning modern web tooling, data stores, backend platforms, and product AI capabilities
- Write code that’s scalable, reusable, and easy for the next person to maintain
- Make sure what you ship works well across browser and mobile
- Build automated test coverage into new work as you go, not after
- Take part in the on-call rotation
- Partner with peers on system design, dependency choices, and long-term maintainability
- Communicate clearly with non-engineering stakeholders
- Support teammates through pairing, code review, and sharing what works
