Job description

Senior Java Developer focused on architecting microservices with Spring Boot + Kafka on Red Hat OpenShift. This consultant will deploy, manage and scale Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters. Also will configure, manage and monitor containerized applications running on Kubernetes or OpenShift in a role that balances new development with critical maintenance and testing responsibilities.

Requirements

To be considered for work, A CANDIDATE MUST BE EITHER A U.S. CITIZEN - OR - PERMANENT RESIDENT ALIEN (No H1 visa holders) with three or more years of U.S. residency as a Permanent Resident Alien., * 8+ years Java/JEE microservices development with Spring REST and Spring Boot

  • 4 + year -f integrating KAFKA for Event Driven Workflows
  • 2 years of KAFKA Administration
  • 1 year using AI Tools such as Claude Code
  • 4 years working with Red Hat OpenShift Container platform
  • 4 years developing automated unit tests with JUnit
  • 4 years Eclipse or Spring Tool Suite or JBoss studio - 4 years
  • 3 + years Github, JIRA
  • 2 + years Oracle Exadata Preferred Skills:

  • CI/CD Pipeline using GitHub Actions
  • Agile methodologies and working as Scrum Master
  • Maven
