SAP Production Planning Consultant

• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with business and technical teams.
• Prepare solution design documents, functional specifications, and RICEF requirements.
• Configure and support SAP PP processes, including production orders, shop floor control, scheduling, capacity planning, confirmations, and availability checks.
• Configure discrete manufacturing processes for make-to-stock and make-to-order strategies.
• Configure MRP plant parameters, MRP controllers, planning strategies, and lot sizing procedures.
• Analyse and maintain master data, including Material Master, BOMs, Work Centres, Routings, Resources, and Product Versions.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementations and ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
• Work on SAP QM functionalities such as quality notifications, inspection processes, and solution design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional modules including SAP MM, PM, CS, and PS.
• Coordinate unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and test automation activities.
• Provide production support and guide business users during hypercare.
• Support SAP Fiori applications, standard APIs, OData services, roles, authorisations, and frontend application-related activities., * Configure and optimise SAP PP and QM business processes.
• Work effectively with cross-functional and technical teams.
• Lead functional discussions and facilitate solution workshops.
• Prepare clear functional specifications and solution documentation.
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple project phases.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution during hypercare.
• Coach and mentor team members while promoting continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage priorities in Agile project environments.
• Deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) with at least 7 years of implementation experience.
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and ECC to S/4HANA migration.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP PP configuration, manufacturing processes, and production execution.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Quality Management (QM), including quality notifications, inspections, and RICEF preparation.
• Cross-functional knowledge of SAP Customer Service (CS), including service notifications, service orders, repair orders, warranties, service contracts, install base, repair processes, and related sales orders.
• Experience integrating SAP PP with SAP MM, PM, PS, CS, and other SAP modules.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, OData services, standard APIs, roles, and authorisations.
• Experience working in customised SAP environments and delivering business-focused solutions.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
