Job description
As an M365 Applications Administrator, you will have a vital operational role in supporting and advancing Microsoft 365 and identity services at enterprise scale. This is a hands-on, operations-centered position responsible for ensuring platform stability, addressing incidents, and promoting automation across core Microsoft services including Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related security and compliance features.
The ideal candidate brings strong operational rigor, deep identity expertise, and experience working within structured IT service management environments. Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 & Identity Operations

Manage daily administration and operational support for Microsoft 365 and Entra ID services.

Triage and resolve incidents and service requests across identity, messaging, collaboration, and access platforms.

Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term remediation to reduce recurring issues and technical debt.

Manage identity lifecycle processes, RBAC, privileged role governance, Conditional Access, MFA, and authentication policies.

Troubleshoot authentication and access issues using Entra ID audit and sign-in logs.

Coordinate Exchange Online, including mail flow, transport rules, mailbox management, permissions, and email security configurations such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and anti-spam/phishing controls.

Operate within an enterprise ITSM framework (e.g., ServiceNow or Jira Service Management), managing tickets in alignment with SLAs and operational benchmarks.

Develop dashboards and reporting to track ticket trends, SLA adherence, and overall platform health.

Maintain runbooks and knowledge documentation while driving continuous service improvement and automation.
Automation, Integrations & Microsoft Graph

Develop and sustain PowerShell automation for Microsoft 365 and identity management.

Register and manage Entra ID applications, including service principals, API permissions, and consent models.

Implement secure Microsoft Graph integrations using delegated and application permissions, ensuring least-privilege access and accurate certificate and secret management procedures.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System administration?, Do you have a Bachelorâs degree?, * 5+ years of hands-on experience coordinating Microsoft 365 and identity platforms in an enterprise environment.

Solid operational knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Exchange Online.

Experience supporting enterprise IT service operations using ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk), with understanding of SLAs, incident management, and reporting.

Direct involvement in handling Entra ID application registrations and Microsoft Graph integrations, including delegated as opposed to application permission models.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for managing Microsoft 365 environments.
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent.
Preferred:

Experience working with Microsoft Intune and its integration with Conditional Access.

Experience working with Microsoft 365 migration solutions like ShareGate, AvePoint, or Quest.

Familiarity with Power Platform governance and security controls.

Experience supporting large-scale or global enterprise environments.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security and compliance tools (DLP, eDiscovery).

Experience supporting tenant-to-tenant migrations across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, including post-migration validation, permissions remediation, integration reconfiguration, and broader Microsoft platform modernization efforts.
