Security Analyst - Cyber Security - Hybrid

Working closely with the CISO, you’ll provide valuable security insights, metrics, and reporting that shape the security strategy, helping the organisation stay resilient against evolving threats while supporting future business growth and innovation.

About the role

• Manage and enhance the organisation’s cyber security posture.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Administer identity and access management across Microsoft, Azure, AWS, and SaaS platforms.
• Implement and maintain Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, and other security technologies.
• Lead vulnerability management and coordinate penetration testing activities.
• Secure Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Implement data protection controls, including DLP, sensitivity labels, and encryption.
• Manage security awareness training and phishing simulation programmes.
• Support and maintain ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications.
• Produce security metrics, dashboards, and reports to inform security strategy.
• Lead and coordinate security incident response and post-incident improvements.
• Conduct third-party security assessments and manage vendor security assurance. *

• 4+ years’ experience in a cyber security or information security role.
• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender Suite, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Purview.
• Proven experience managing vulnerability scanning and penetration testingprogrammes.
• Experience supporting ISO 27001 compliance and coordinating Cyber Essentials andCyber Essentials Plus certifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills across complex IT environments.
• Proactive approach to security, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice.
• Experience leading or supporting security incident response and remediation.
• Strong reporting, analysis, and security metrics capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
