Job description

This role will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s Active Directory and hybrid identity environment, including Microsoft Entra ID integration, user access management, Group Policy administration, and identity governance. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting authentication and access issues, managing user lifecycles, supporting Active Directory security, backup, recovery, and resiliency efforts, and identifying opportunities for automation through tools such as PowerShell. The individual will collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to resolve issues, implement improvements, and ensure secure, reliable identity services. Additionally, they will promote and uphold health, safety, environmental, and security (HESS) standards by following safety procedures, participating in required training, conducting risk assessments when needed, and fostering a culture of workplace safety and accountability.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of enterprise Active Directory administration and engineering experience
  • Experience supporting: o Active Directly security, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. o Working with Group Policy administration and troubleshotting o Active Directory Recovery, resiliencey, backup, or disastter recover initiatives o Working in an Identity and Access Management environement or supporting IAM-related initiatives

  • Experience collaborting with infrastructure, security and application teams on identity-related projects.
  • Experience with PowerShell automation and scripting.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Quest Change Auditor
  • Experience with Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory
  • Experience with One Identity solutions
  • Experience consolidating or migrating multipe Active Directory forests or supporting Active Directory modernization programs.
  • Experience supporting large, distributed, or global enterprise environments.
