Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Network Engineer to join our enterprise NOC team. In this critical role, you will be the top-tier escalation point for complex routing, switching, and security incidents. You will lead Major Incident Management calls, mentor junior engineers, and work alongside Cisco TAC and vendors to ensure network stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as SME for Routing (BGP, OSPF), Switching, Firewalls (Cisco/Checkpoint), and F5 Load Balancers.
  • Troubleshoot escalated incidents and perform break-fix configuration changes.
  • Lead crisis management and bridge calls during critical outages.
  • Drive operational excellence by mentoring Tier 1/2 staff.
  • Manage change controls and utilize packet capture tools (Sniffer/Infinistream).

Requirements

5+ years of NOC or enterprise network support experience.

  • Deep expertise in Cisco hardware, IP subnetting, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
  • Strong customer service and crisis communication skills.
  • Certifications: CCNA required; CCNP-level (or F5/MCSE) strongly preferred.
  • Plus: Arista, Ansible/Python automation experience.
