Stacklet helps organizations with large cloud estates optimize cost, improve security, and ensure compliance by simplifying and automating all aspects of governance via code. Our company was founded by the creators and maintainers of CNCF’s Cloud Custodian, an open-source project used today by thousands of well-known global brands.

Our Stacklet Platform is an award-winning governance as code solution that enables teams to identify and remediate cloud governance issues while establishing preventative guardrails against their recurrence. Renowned for supporting some of the world’s most substantial cloud service consumers, Stacklet Platform helps mitigate cloud waste and risk on a large scale.

As a senior frontend software engineer at Stacklet, in collaboration with product and design, you’ll build performant, well tested, and easy-to-use user interfaces. You’ll be working in a deeply technical domain, helping us to translate the essence of Cloud Custodian into experiences that make it simple for our customers to understand and optimize the state of their cloud in terms of compliance and risk.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with Javascript and contemporary frameworks, ideally React
  • 3+ years of experience leading frontend initiatives and mentoring other engineers
  • Experience with testing frameworks (playwright/cypress, jest)
  • Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS and modern browser APIs
  • Experience delivering responsive user interfaces which work across multiple devices
  • Ability to work seamlessly on a distributed software development team in an Agile/DevOps environment
  • Strong attention to detail and keeping commitments
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the following areas is a bonus, but not required
  • Prior startup experience
  • Experience with TypeScript, Relay and GraphQL
  • Experience with contemporary prototyping tools (Sketch/Invision, Lucidchart, Figma, etc)
  • Open source software contributions
  • Full stack development experience

Benefits & conditions

  • Company laptop for development
  • Home office budget
  • Github and JIRA, lightweight agile process
  • Talented and experienced team, friendly culture
