Job description

This role is responsible for leading the design and development of modern, high-performance web applications using React and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping front-end architecture, defining engineering standards, and delivering scalable, accessible, and user-centric web experiences. You will collaborate closely with Product, UX, Backend, and Platform teams to build robust UI solutions and drive excellence in front-end engineering practices across the organization., Lead the design and development of complex, user-facing web applications using React and TypeScript. Own front-end architecture decisions including state management, routing, and application structure. Develop scalable, reusable UI components leveraging existing design system foundations. Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate design requirements into high-quality, production-ready interfaces. Define and enforce front-end engineering standards, including coding conventions, testing practices, and component architecture. Optimize application performance, including Core Web Vitals, bundle size, rendering efficiency, and runtime behavior. Implement responsive, cross-browser compatible, and accessible user interfaces. Build and support advanced UI features such as real-time updates, complex forms, and data-rich interfaces. Ensure secure front-end practices including authentication flows, token handling, and vulnerability prevention. Work closely with backend teams on REST and GraphQL API integration, including pagination, filtering, and error handling strategies. Establish and maintain comprehensive testing strategies using unit, integration, and E2E testing tools. Requirements

8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on front-end development. Expert-level proficiency in React, including hooks, component design, and performance optimization. Strong experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript. Solid understanding of front-end build tools (Vite, Webpack, Babel/SWC) and package managers (npm, yarn, or pnpm). Strong CSS skills, including responsive design and scalable styling approaches (CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS, or utility frameworks). Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA) and best practices. Proven experience optimizing web performance and Core Web Vitals. Strong experience integrating REST and GraphQL APIs. Knowledge of web application security best practices (XSS, CSRF prevention, secure authentication patterns). Experience implementing testing strategies using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to improve productivity and code quality. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SSR frameworks such as Next.js or Remix. Experience working with design systems, Storybook, or design tokens. Exposure to micro-frontend architecture or module federation. Experience with data visualization or advanced UI libraries (e.g., D3, Canvas, WebGL). Familiarity with enterprise authentication standards such as OAuth2 or OIDC. Experience modernizing legacy front-end applications and improving developer experience.
