Job description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise dashboard and reporting applications.
Build and support backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architectures.
Contribute to modern frontend development using Angular (preferred) or React with TypeScript/JavaScript.
Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and event-driven architectures.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
Create and maintain automated testing frameworks, end-to-end tests, integration tests, and performance testing solutions.
Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software in an iterative development environment.
Support CI/CD implementation and automation using modern DevOps practices and tools.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery speed

Requirements

Our client is seeking a talented Mid-Level Software Engineer (3-5+ years of experience) to join a newly established Program Dashboard Team, an enterprise initiative focused on transforming how reporting, analytics, and dashboard solutions are delivered across the organization. This team is building scalable, centralized reporting platforms to replace siloed, one-off solutions and provide consistent insights to stakeholders across multiple business units., * 3-5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications.

Strong backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
Full-stack development experience with Angular (preferred) or React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Strong database experience with SQL and relational databases.
Experience developing and deploying applications in AWS environments.
Understanding of software engineering best practices including automated testing, CI/CD, source control, configuration management, and secure coding practices.
Experience working within Agile development methodologies.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to support applications from development through production.
