Test Engineer

• Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
• Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
• Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
• Be a productive member of the team.

Requirements

• Develop test plans based on program requirements.
• Coordinate test activities across internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure test environments, data, and tools are prepared and available.
• Ensure alignment with program goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Act as the central point of contact for all testing-related activities.
• Collaborate with program managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Regularly update stakeholders on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Oversee execution of test cases, ensuring adherence to scope and timelines.
• Track test progress, defects, resolution, and reporting.
• Escalate issues promptly.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups or status meetings during the test phase.
• Ensure proper test coverage and adherence to testing protocols.
• Ensure documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Provide reporting on test progress, defects, and risks.
• Prepare phase-end summaries and contribute to go/no-go decisions.
• Identify testing risks and dependencies.
• Develop mitigation plans.

• Experience with Playwright, Karate, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and test lifecycle management.
• Extensive experience in BAT and SIT.
• Experience managing testing efforts for multiple parallel initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder alignment, coordination, and communication skills.
• Expertise in test preparation, execution, and defect management.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of test management tools and methodologies.
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
• Experience working in large-scale, complex programs.
• Knowledge of test automation concepts.
• Experience in regulated and complex finance environments.
• Knowledge of nCino and/or Salesforce.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
