SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to BPSS and Export Control checks (including a criminal record check)., This position transcends a conventional IT role; it is a vital strategic enabler for the Aircraft (A/C) Family Production Ramp-up, the Next Generation Industrialization roadmap, and pivotal Mergers & Acquisitions, such as the Spirit integration. The successful candidate will hold the critical responsibility of ensuring that our SAP S/4HANA core infrastructure is architected to support manufacturing production rates unprecedented within the aerospace industry.
The core mission of this role is to expertly bridge the divide between highly complex industrial requirements and standard SAP solutions. By spearheading system design and deployment, the chosen candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that our manufacturing plants operate cohesively globally, driven by a single, synchronized source of truth.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Standardization: Reducing the âAirbus Customizationâ debt by leveraging APICS and by consequence applying SAP Standard Best Practices.
- Shop Floor Integration: Leading the integration between S/4HANA and the Execution to ensure real-time visibility of the âas-builtâ vs. âas-plannedâ status.
- Project Management: Managing the Gantt and running the dependencies (cross initiatives and cross project lifecycle: Product Increment, waterfall,âŚ)
- Risk Management: Proactively identifying bottlenecks in the digital twin of the production line.
- Network Management:Collaboration with the best SAP architects and Industrial Leads across the European/US/CH/IND, to lead international workstreams and manage diverse stakeholders (IT, Plants, and Central Functions)
Requirements
- Expertise Level: Senior / Principal + APICS & PMI certifications
- Production Planning âAppetenceâ: Specific experience with Constraint-based Planning and Synchronized Planning between global supply chains and local Assembly Lines.
- Airbus Knowledge/Project management: Familiarity with Airbus âQuality Gatesâ and the transition from legacy environments (R3 and ECC6) to S/4HANA/Cloud is highly desirable., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companyâs success, reputation and sustainable growth.
