Job description

This position demands strong technical capabilities, including database troubleshooting, basic Java knowledge, and Linux/Unix administration skills, combined with a clear understanding of banking processes and agile methodologies. You will work closely with application users, IT Service Owners, and other stakeholders to guarantee smooth operations and high availability in a mission-critical environment., * Deliver Level 3 application support for the CLM system within an agile organization

  • Diagnose and resolve complex incidents, perform root cause analyses, and identify improvement opportunities
  • Work with database systems (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) for analysis and troubleshooting
  • Use basic Java skills for application-level debugging and configuration review
  • Perform Linux/Unix administration tasks for logs, scripting, and operational maintenance
  • Manage Release and Product Lifecycle processes, ensuring timely and controlled deployments
  • Support system configuration, standard software parameterization, and related operational activities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and process improvements to enhance system reliability
  • Provide on-call support and occasional weekend availability to handle critical issues

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Level 3 application support
  • Strong database knowledge and troubleshooting skills: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle
  • Familiarity with banking processes including CRM, account opening, and compliance
  • Basic knowledge of Java for issue analysis
  • Solid experience with Linux/Unix systems (file navigation, scripts, log analysis)
  • Experience in Release Management and Product Lifecycle activities
  • Agile methodology experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with structured approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with business users and IT teams
  • Graduate degree in IT or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Good English skills; German language is a plus
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable, with capability to handle on-call and weekend shifts

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with integration and automation tools for operational efficiency
  • Previous experience in banking domain application environments using CLM solutions
  • Additional scripting knowledge for automation (e.g., Shell, Python)
