Junior SQL Developer

• Collaborate on building ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like Informatica and Talend to streamline data integration from diverse sources such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and cloud platforms like Azure Data Lake and AWS.
• Support the implementation of Big Data solutions utilizing Hadoop, Apache Hive, Spark, and related frameworks to handle large-scale datasets effectively.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analysis purposes; utilize Looker and other BI tools to create insightful dashboards.
• Contribute to the automation of workflows through shell scripting (Bash), Python, VBA, or RESTful APIs to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in Agile development cycles by providing analysis skills for model training, database design improvements, and system enhancements.
• Assist in troubleshooting database issues, performing performance tuning, and ensuring data security compliance.

Do you have experience in Spark?, * Basic understanding of SQL programming with experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Data Lake is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools like Talend or Informatica; experience with Hadoop ecosystem components such as Apache Hive or Spark is a plus.
• Exposure to Big Data concepts including distributed storage and processing frameworks like Hadoop or Spark.
• Ability to write shell scripts (Bash) or Python for automation tasks; experience with VBA is advantageous.
• Strong analysis skills with an eye for detail; capable of translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Understanding of database design principles and data warehouse architecture.
• Experience working within Agile teams; familiarity with RESTful APIs for system integration is beneficial.
