Job description

Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Support Coordinator in Lakeland, FL., The IT Support Coordinator will be responsible for managing user support requests, network troubleshooting and changes, device repair, upgrade and provisioning, remote device management and patch management. An IT Support Coordinator must be ready to learn, excited to help others, and ready to use critical thinking to solve complex problems., * Install and configure software and computer systems

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware
  • Walk colleagues or clients through steps to help them resolve their technical problems
  • Support the implementation of new solutions or applications
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Any other task or duty as assigned or required
  • May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Physical demands and work environment:

  • In-office position
  • Frequently required to sit
  • Frequently required to talk or hear
  • Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard and mouse.
  • May have to lift and carry computer equipment to setup workstations up to 30 pounds.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
