Job description

Senior Software Engineers lead the design, development, and delivery of complex software systems in support of the customer’s requirements. Senior Software Engineers take ownership of significant portions of the software development lifecycle - from requirements analysis and design through coding, integration, and testing - while operating within Agile development teams. Senior Software Engineers apply sound engineering judgment to resolve difficult technical problems, evaluate design trade-offs, and help ensure delivered systems meet performance, security, and reliability standards. Senior Software Engineers are expected to review the work of less experienced engineers and provide technical mentorship

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7-11 years of relevant professional software engineering experience (Master’s degree and 5-9 years also acceptable); additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, * Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C/C++, JavaScript)
  • Demonstrated experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, testing, and deployment
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams and ceremonies
  • Experience with version control and configuration management tools
  • Experience developing on Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate software architecture and technical trade-offs
  • Strong critical thinking, technical writing, and oral communication skills, including the ability to present technical solutions to customers
  • Senior positions review and guide the work of Junior and Mid-Level engineers
