Job description

Senior Software Developers lead the design, development, and delivery of complex, full-stack application solutions in support of the customer’s requirements. Senior Software Developers translate customer and system requirements into technical design, build and maintain scalable back-end services and front-end interfaces, and operate within Agile development teams. Senior Software Developers apply sound engineering judgment to resolve difficult technical problems, evaluate design trade-offs across the stack, and help ensure delivered applications meet performance, security, and reliability standards. Senior Software Developers are expected to review the work of less experienced developers and provide technical mentorship.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience across the full stack, including web application UI development, back-end services, and databases
  • Demonstrated experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization/orchestration technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams and ceremonies
  • Experience with version control and configuration management tools
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Demonstrated experience translating customer and system requirements into technical design
  • Strong critical thinking, technical writing, and oral communication skills, including the ability to present technical solutions to customers
  • Senior positions review and guide the work of Junior and Mid-Level developers
