Job description

Mid-Level Software Engineers support the design, development, and delivery of software systems in support of the customer’s requirements, working both individually and as members of an Agile development team. Mid-Level Software Engineers take ownership of user stories from implementation through unit testing and integration, contribute to design discussions, and support documentation efforts. Mid-Level Software Engineers are expected to work with growing independence while continuing to build technical depth and may begin providing informal guidance to more junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3-6 years of relevant professional software engineering experience; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, * Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C/C++, JavaScript)
  • Solid experience across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including coding, unit testing, and integration
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams
  • Experience with version control and configuration management tools
  • Experience developing on Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Working understanding of modern software design patterns and secure coding standards
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a development team
