Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide end-user technical support and maintain desktop, laptop, software, and peripheral systems. This position is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting technology solutions to ensure efficient and reliable operations., * Provide day-to-day support for desktop and laptop hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals.

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computers, printers, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user technical issues, documenting resolutions and procedures.
• Utilize desktop management tools to deploy patches, perform audits, and maintain device performance.
• Perform desktop imaging and deployment activities.
• Coordinate with telecommunications and vendor support teams to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Maintain knowledge of current technologies, systems, and industry trends.Assist with hardware repairs, warranty claims, and equipment replacement. *

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting personal computers and providing end-user technical support.
• Experience installing and maintaining operating systems and desktop software.
• Experience with desktop management tools, patch deployment, and system imaging.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and workstation optimization.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. *

This position is required to work on- site in Brenham, TX Monday - Friday.
