Requirements

  • Accountable for 24x7 support for overall Infrastructure/Datacenter (Servers, Storage, Network, Racks, etc.) operations.
  • 100% hands-on datacenter management (servers, racks, fiber/copper cabling, etc.).
  • Well-versed in racking, stacking, cabling, decommissioning, and break-fix activities on datacenter hardware such as Servers, Storage, Backup, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc.
  • 3-7 years of experience in managing datacenter operations for large and complex customer environments.
  • Experience in capacity planning for rack space, power, cooling, datacenter modular containment, and necessary monitoring tools and services.
  • Handling incidents and service requests while adhering to contractual SLAs.
  • Coordinating with various datacenter vendors for new projects and break-fix activities.
  • Supporting project teams for new installations and decommissioning.
  • Routing datacenter monitoring and maintenance activities.

  • Flexible, continuous learner with excellent communication skills; works well in a team environment, embraces challenges, and is comfortable working in new areas requiring experimentation and rapid problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience supporting emergency communication systems, including coordination with third-party vendors.
  • Knowledge of operational tools for deployment, provisioning, monitoring, and performance measurement.
  • Responsible for analyzing production operations and initiating corrective actions to ensure operational stability and efficient workflow.
  • Strong adherence to processes and operational procedures.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
