Director of IT Job Opening Philadelphia Pennsylvania

The greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area Director of IT will maintain the company’s LAN and WAN systems and will manage servers, networks, and computer stations. He or she will train employees in proper technology usage and new software and hardware implementation. The Director of IT will manage contracts with external IT contract companies and consultants and will keep the company and employees abreast of IT issues and maintenance., * The Director of IT will be responsible for ensuring employees are honoring software and license agreements.

• He or she will maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality in all workplace matters.
• The Director of IT will be responsible for purchasing cost-effective and effective technology.

• A four-year degree from an accredited institute in the field of computer science, or a similar field, is required for this role. A master’s degree is highly preferred.
• At least five years working as a Director of IT is required for this position. At least ten years working in the IT field is required.
• Experience controlling a technology budget is highly preferred for this position.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a necessity.
