Job description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions that support critical business initiatives. Working closely with product managers, software engineers, quality assurance teams, and business stakeholders, you’ll help drive technical excellence while contributing to the long-term success of our products., * Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to software architecture decisions.
- Write clean, efficient, secure, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, and fellow developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Review code and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and engineering standards.
- Support software deployments, production releases, and ongoing system improvements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
- Experience designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
- Experience building cloud-native applications.
- Previous experience mentoring software engineers or leading technical initiatives.
- Relevant cloud or software engineering certifications are a plus.
