Job description
Job Type: Full-time Location: Madison, WI office with travel to client sites. Territory: Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. Schedule: First shift coverage within a 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM window, with some scheduled after-hours and weekend work as needed., * Serve as a primary technology advisor for our diverse portfolio of SMB clients, providing both on-site and remote support.
- Manage and resolve multiple client issues simultaneously while maintaining focus and a professional composure.
- Administer, operate, and configure a wide range of technologies, including servers, workstations, firewalls, and cloud platforms.
- Communicate effectively with clients and our internal Project Manager to ensure the fluid and successful completion of projects.
- Learn and troubleshoot industry-specific software suites to provide comprehensive client support.
- Continuously advance your education to maintain certifications and stay current with cutting-edge technologies.
Requirements
- A current working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals across critical infrastructure, applications, networks, cloud (SaaS), and the Internet of Things (IoT).
- Microsoft Azure: Ability to work within the platform and integrate its services.
- Windows Server (2019/2022/2025): Strong administration, operation, and configuration skills.
- Windows 11: Professional-level administration and configuration.
- Proven ability to administer various Firewalls/Routers, VMWare environments, XDR (eXtended Detection and Response) solutions, and BCDR (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) platforms., * Exceptional time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic landscape.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a client-facing role.
- A foundational knowledge of the sales process.
- A dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of current auto insurance.
- Must be a US citizen or a permanent resident of the US.
