Job description

Mungo Homes has an opening for an IT Systems Administrator! This position will work out of our Charleston, SC market!

This position is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the computer systems and networks for our business. You will be tasked with solving complex technical issues, provide recommendations for improvements, and collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (performs other duties as assigned)

  • Provide operational and troubleshooting support for Wan and LAN networks that include Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, and access points.
  • Implement, tune, and manage network technology.
  • Rack and cable equipment in corporate buildings and maintain installation documentation.
  • Evaluate, test, and deploy all technology upgrades to the network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware.
  • Maintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization.
  • Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues.
  • Work closely with the fellow tech team members to provide end-user support and issue resolution.
  • Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging tools and technologies.
  • Participate in business-wide meetings to provide insight into technical requirements.

Education and/or Experience: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and 2-3 years of experience in a network administrative support role; or equivalent combination of education and experience., * Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and should be able to communicate with technical and non-technical resources across different audiences.

  • Be self-disciplined; demonstrate accountability, unquestionable ethics and impeccable integrity; honor commitments and exceed expectations.
  • Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
  • Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.
  • Exhibit thoroughness and attention to detail in their work product and all accompanying documentation. Prevent any unnecessary service interruptions whenever possible.

Computer Skills: Working knowledge, expertise, and understanding of the principles of modern software and hardware troubleshooting. This will include an understanding of Microsoft OS and application support, Mobile device platforms, as well as audio/visual equipment and applications.
