Job description

  • Collect and compile healthcare data from various sources, including electronic health records, surveys, and other databases
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making and improve patient care
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators and measure the effectiveness of treatments and interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to understand data needs and develop solutions to address them
  • Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues and work to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in data analysis and healthcare technology
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with electronic health records and healthcare data standards (e.g. HL7, FHIR)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
