Job description

This position is for a talented and experienced IT leader to join this global manufacturing organization as a Senior IT Director. The successful candidate will lead the global IT function for the organization and responsible for overseeing IT applications, infrastructure (networking, server administration, security), ERP, BI & Analytics and implementation and use of Artificial Intelligence.

  • Work for a global leader in the manufacturing industry
  • Lead the IT operations of the organization, The successful Senior IT Director candidate will lead the global IT function for the organization and some of their daily responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing all IT applications, infrastructure (networking, server administration, security, BI & Analytics)
  • Be a part of the selection process for a new global ERP rollout
  • Establish and build a strong team culture. You will have 4 direct reports and an IT team of 30 to start!
  • Standardize global IT infrastructure & security performance metrics
  • Oversee the implementation and use of Artificial Intelligence.

Requirements

The successful Senior IT Director will ideally have the following experience:

  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience in either a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • ERP implementation experience (Preferably SAP or Oracle, but any large ERP is fine)
  • Strong people management and leadership experience
  • Experience working for a global manufacturing organization is preferred
  • An expert understanding of enterprise systems, data integration, and infrastructure.
  • Artificial Intelligence experience
  • Proven ability to lead through change and improve service delivery.
  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and multi-site operations.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
