Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Data Analyst to spearhead our data analytics initiatives and drive impactful insights across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of complex data models, design comprehensive dashboards, and oversee data visualization projects that inform strategic decision-making. Your expertise in business intelligence tools, database management, and analytics methodologies will empower teams to harness data effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence business outcomes through innovative analysis, technical leadership, and collaborative problem-solving., * Lead the design and implementation of data models, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices in database design.

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms to visualize key metrics.
  • Manage the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) for analytics projects, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Oversee ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure accurate data integration from multiple sources such as SQL databases, Oracle, Talend, and Bash scripts.
  • Conduct advanced data analysis utilizing R, Python, Excel data analysis techniques, and other analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Lead efforts in business intelligence initiatives by developing dashboards, visualizations, and reports that support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise junior analysts by providing mentorship in SQL query management, data visualization best practices, and technical proficiency across platforms like Microsoft SQL Server and VBA.
  • Ensure adherence to project management principles within an Agile environment for timely delivery of analytics solutions.
  • Promote best practices in linked data management and support the integration of diverse datasets for comprehensive analysis.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with demonstrated expertise in SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, Looker or equivalent platforms.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC processes combined with experience in software development lifecycle analysis for analytics projects.
  • Technical skills in R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell scripting), Talend or similar ETL tools for data processing tasks.
  • Expertise in database design principles and query management to optimize performance across large datasets.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence concepts such as dashboard development and reporting automation.
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights for business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of linked data principles and experience working with diverse data sources to create integrated datasets.
  • Strong project management skills within an Agile framework to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for requirements analysis and translating technical findings into actionable recommendations.
