Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications within a large-scale ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based application development, cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, and enterprise software engineering. This role involves developing new features, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications based on approved technical designs.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues.
Develop scalable, high-performance Java applications following coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Maintain technical documentation and support application lifecycle management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8 12 years of software development experience with enterprise applications.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on Java application development experience in large enterprise environments.
Strong experience with Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD).
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and change management processes.
Experience with cloud-based application development and deployments.
Proficiency with Git for version control.
Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and/or Kanban.
Strong knowledge of database design and SQL.
