Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications within a large-scale ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based application development, cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, and enterprise software engineering. This role involves developing new features, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications based on approved technical designs.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues.
  • Develop scalable, high-performance Java applications following coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support application lifecycle management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8 12 years of software development experience with enterprise applications.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Java application development experience in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience with Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD).
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and change management processes.
  • Experience with cloud-based application development and deployments.
  • Proficiency with Git for version control.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and/or Kanban.
  • Strong knowledge of database design and SQL.
