  • Read and interpret hardware schematics and datasheets.
  • Evaluate new hardware devices and designs.
  • Debug embedded systems using appropriate test equipment.
  • Produce technical documentation, including APIs and communication protocols.
  • Use task tracking tools to manage development activities.
  • Contribute to reliability analysis, risk assessments and FMEA.

Requirements

Are you an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong C programming skills and a passion for developing firmware close to hardware?, You’ll ideally have:

  • 5+ years’ experience working with embedded systems.
  • Strong commercial experience developing bare-metal firmware in C.
  • Knowledge of embedded communication protocols such as SPI, RS485 and CAN.
  • Experience debugging embedded hardware and firmware using oscilloscopes, logic analysers and multimeters.
  • Good understanding of electronics and the ability to read schematics.
  • Experience using task tracking and development tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
